Course Details

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Examination is conducted to recruit candidates for various posts in one of India’s leading Central Armed Police Forces under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Candidates must be citizens of India. Subjects of Nepal and Bhutan are also eligible as per Government norms

Gender

Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification

  • For Constable (GD): 10th Pass from a recognized board
  • For Head Constable / ASI: 12th Pass or equivalent qualification
  • For Assistant Commandant and Officer-Level Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university
  • Technical and specialized posts may require additional qualifications.

Age Limit

  • SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years
  • OBC Candidates: 3 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen and other reserved categories: As per Government rules.

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years
  • OBC Candidates: 3 Years
  • Central Government Employees: Up to 5 Years relaxation as per Government norms.

Physical Standards

Male Candidates

 

  • Height: 170 cm
  • Chest: 80 cm (with prescribed expansion)
  • Weight: Proportionate to height and age

Female Candidates

 

  • Height: 157 cm

  • Weight: Proportionate to

    Note:
    Relaxation in height and chest measurements is provided for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes, hill areas, Gorkhas, Garhwalis, and other eligible categories as per Government regulations.

The CISF recruitment process may include:

  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
