AIRFORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST (AFCAT)

Course Details

The Indian Air Force conducts the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) to recruit talented graduates as Gazetted Officers in various branches of the Indian Air Force. AFCAT is one of the most prestigious defence examinations in India, offering young aspirants the opportunity to serve the nation with pride, discipline, and honor.

Through AFCAT, candidates can join the Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical), and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branches of the Indian Air Force. The examination is conducted twice every year as AFCAT 1 and AFCAT 2.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must be Indian Citizens
  • Candidates must be Unmarried

AFCAT Examination Pattern

The AFCAT examination is conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of objective-type questions. The exam evaluates a candidate’s aptitude, reasoning ability, numerical skills, English proficiency, and awareness of current affairs and defence-related topics
